Retrograde deep enteroscopy shows a jejunal varix with an adherent clot. This 72-year-old woman with a history of alcoholic cirrhosis presented with maroon stools. Push enteroscopy did not reveal an upper gastrointestinal source for the bleeding.Colonoscopy findings were also negative, although blood could be seen coming from the small bowel.
