Download

Endoscopic mucosal resection of a sessile polyp. A patient was referred for resection of a clam-shaped sessile polyp that encompassed both sides of a colonic fold. A submucosal injection was used to raise the lesion. A snare was then used to resect the lesion in piecemeal fashion. Argon plasma coagulation was used to ablate fragments of residual tissue at the resection margins.
