Video 78.1 Endoscopic ultrasound-guided coiling and cyanoacrylate injection of large IGV1 varix with stigmata of recent hemorrhage

Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided coiling and cyanoacrylate injection of large IGV1 varix with stigmata of recent hemorrhage. Initial color Doppler imaging showed high-volume blood flow within the varix. Under EUS guidance, three embolization coils were deployed into the varix followed by cyanoacrylate injection. Repeat color Doppler after treatment showed no significant flow within the varix. Probing of the varix with an injection catheter tip revealed firm consistency, confirming complete obliteration.
