Video clip demonstrating ligation-assisted endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) of a duodenal bulb carcinoid in a cirrhotic patient. One band was placed around the tumor using a gastroscope. The resection angle was not optimal using a forward-viewing endoscope. This was replaced with a side-viewing duodenoscope and the tumor was then resected en bloc using a hot snare. The EMR site was completely closed with placement of multiple hemoclips as the patient was at high risk for post-EMR bleeding.
